I got Donkey texted twice today, and I Donkey called twice. One person called me out, the other has not.

The text didn't really pack the punch (donkey punch, that is) that a call can, but at least in a text, you know it's more likely to reach its intended audience, instead of hitting voicemail.

When I got mine today, I thought "Let the insanity begin!"

SHP, I knew it was you that Donkey-called me! But I had no comeback since I didn't want to call from my work phone, which was the only phone number handy that you didn't have.

Holly, same for you. I know you have my number, but you said Spicey didn't have many people's numbers. So I was hoping I would catch him unawares, whereas you would know immediately that it was me and would probably pre-emptively Donkey me when you picked up.

The texts were my last-ditch effort while I was sitting in traffic on the highway. Shell, I don't have your number!

I'm going to have trouble calling you all by your real names. Undies, I'll probably be calling you Undies all weekend. You can all call me Shell though, because that's what most of my family and friends call me.
