I am jealous of your garden, Shell. We planted our first-ever seeds this year, and entrusted our small plot to the care of our 12-year-old as a school project. The only thing we've been able to get out of it so far were carrots, but it looks like later on we should have at least one pumpkin. Whoo hoo!

As far as today, well, we went geocaching this morning and found 3 large caches FULL of stuff. One was dinosaur themed, so my daughter brought home a glow-in-the-dark Triceratops.

The only thing funny that happened was when Spicey was taking pictures during the hike, and he had to run a tenth of a mile to catch up with us. Only, it wasn't all that funny, because he didn't trip and fall like I was hoping.

I also dyed my hair this weekend...TWICE. The first time, I did it myself and didn't notice I'd missed large spots until I was in the dressing room at Kohl's under the fluorescent lights. (FAIL) So I bought a six-pack of beer (for my nerves) and more dye, and went over to my friend's house so she and her husband could fix it for me.

Today we took a short road trip.

I've been a fan of American Pickers since it came out.
I love watching Mike and Frank interact with some real yokels and come up with some cool Shakespeare in the process.

Their home shop is less than an hour from here so we finally made the trip to check it out.

It's actually a pretty small shop, and there was a wait of about an hour just to get in. I was a little disappointed that the guys weren't there, but I did get to meet Danielle, got a pic with her, and got her to sign my taint a picture.

Now that I have some fapping material I think I may go work on Mungs challenge now.
