PS/2 connectors (the mouse socket, not the thing you played Tekken on) provide the perfect prank for the office. Many businesses still use old computers with the ancient round connectors that look like a smiley face guy with a big rectangular nose. Here's the perfect prank that will take you only 30 seconds, but possibly take them hours to figure out.
It's an error message or a zen riddle -- either way, you aren't getting any work done
The prank is amazingly easy: simply swap the mouse and keyboard connections behind the computer.
Many older computers only color-coded the plugs and the inside of the socket. When they get the first error message, they'll laboriously haul themselves around to check the connections, only to see that everything is plugged in. And since that's the absolute limit of their technical knowledge (in some advanced cases they may try switching it on and off), they're stumped!
BONUS: Act as mystified as them, and when they leave to fetch technical assistance, simply switch the cables back. When their helper "fixes" everything by just pressing F1, they'll be left with serious doubts that your target can even read!

I'm ashamed to admit we still have pc's with PS/2 connectors at work. Not many, but a few.
The problem is, I AM tech support. So this doesn't do any good other than taking me away from Zug other work.
