I had a dream last night, but it didn't include any GABbers other than Shell. However, GAB is boring today, so I figured I'd share. In the dream, I was marked for death by a vampire, and a bunch of people were locked inside in this fake tourist-trap of a castle (think Ren Faire but for vampires).
Anyway, there was this regimen of things you can do to keep yourself safe from the vampire, but they never seemed to work. I did paint myself gold, but there was this one guy who was ahead of me in the death-line, and though it did keep him from dying THAT day, the next day the remedy lost its effectiveness. So, the next thing on the list was to jump from atop this high tower, which he did, and then died as he smashed up all over the ground.
I didn't want to try that (even though technically it DID keep him from being killed by a vampire) and asked Shell to save me. Shell could commune with her somehow, but with me, she absolutely failed. Apparently the vampire trying to kill me was Straw's mother. (This fact was just something everyone knew - no one had to explain it. Straw wasn't in the dream either.) Anyway, Straw's mother didn't care what Shell had to say, she just wanted to kill me.
Instead, I had to escape by stealing a pickup truck and driving it to my in-laws' house. Unfortunately, their house was in the middle of nowhere surrounded by big fields, and it had been raining. So, when the truck went through the mud, it got stuck. I woke up with the vampire hovering above the truck and Shell telling me I must be a freak because her plan to save me didn't work and she wasn't that upset because she was going to steal & keep all my clickies if I died.
That, more than the fact that a vampire was going to kill me, is what shocked me awake.
Thanks Shell, you thieving bitch.
