Bulletin board pranks are the greenest practical jokes you can play. They're a great way to recycle: not only can you reuse old printer paper by printing on the reverse side, you can also recycle the few sparks of joy left in the souls of anyone working somewhere with a bulletin board.
Simply print up one of these prank signs (downloadable below for free), and you'll generate smiles from your co-workers, fellow students, or hippies at your local health food store.

My favorite is still "This bin for recycling paper ONLY, Frostnuts: reports, faxes, printouts." I had to look it up because I couldn't remember which of several billion office threads it was in.
