Michael Hoban is one of my best buddies. He was the best man at my wedding. He's also a freelance writer and once dressed as a transvestite for ZUG.
Mike, a.k.a. "Johnny Plankton," is known to ZUG denizens as the perpetrator of the Sex Change at the 35th High School Reunion prank, as well as The Banana Prank, The Liberal Prank, and many other stunts.
Since Mike is always crowing about how great his pranks are, I decided to give him some of his own medicine, while letting all his family and friends know about his "feminine side."
The Prank
As you may know, Facebook recently changed their profile layout. One of the feature of this layout is that ANYTIME YOU TAG SOMEONE IN A PHOTO, IT SHOWS UP IN THE BLOCK OF THUMBNAILS UNDER THAT PERSON'S PROFILE! So I did the following:
1) I took compromising photos of Mike dressed up in women's clothing from the "reunion" prank he posted on ZUG.
2) I added a caption to five of the photos:
Hi | I'm | Mike | The | Transvestite
(I found that Facebook seems to crop the outside of the image, so I had to put the caption in the center.)
3) I uploaded the photos one by one to Facebook (since the most recently uploaded photo seems to appear first in the block, I had to post the sentence in reverse order).
4) Immediately after uploading each photo, I tagged Mike in it.
5) I waited for hilarity to ensue. (I'm not sure what that means, but when you do something funny, it's supposed to happen.)
The Result

Almost immediately after I posted the photos, Mike called me in a panic.
"You gotta take those pictures down! I friended a guy who promised to get me work! And it's a straight gig, not one of those crazy ZUG things!!!" (Mike writes articles for the real estate and construction industries, as well as doing comedy.)
"I don't know Mike, I think it was a pretty funny prank," I responded. "What's it worth to you?"
"Listen, Hank," he said, seething. "Remember, I threw the bachelor party for you. I have pictures of you up on a table at a strip club ON ALL FOURS AND BARKING LIKE A DOG AT A COCKTAIL WAITRESS! Do you really want your wife to see that, or do you want her to believe we took you bowling, like we said?"
He had me on that one, but luckily I had the presence of mind to take the screengrab before I took down the photos. Now I'm just wondering if Mike remembers what he was doing at the bachelor party...
