Go right ahead, Phla, and I might even agree with you to a certain extent. But what is the point of even bringing it up? We're not factory employees who can be motivated to increase production. Even if I was capable of being funnier, I'm not going to work harder at it because someone tried to shame me into it.

And that's all it is - pointless shaming. He didn't even try to be funny or original about it. If someone is going to walk into my house and Shakespeare in my living room because he doesn't like my color scheme, he should at least make his point with rainbow colored poo.

I guess my frustration is not that this type of thread happens at least every 6 months, but that sometimes it's from someone who was never even a blip on the funny radar when they were here.

It's one thing when someone who was a real part of the heartbeat of this place steps in to say something like it's not like the olden days. It's quite another when pieface or whatever his/her face shows up and feels like he/she/it needs to take the proverbial rainbow Shakespeare in the living room.

I think the main problem is that I showed up and started posting. If you create a graph comparing the overall monthly funnyness figures to the number of my posts (including experiments) you will see an obvious relation between the two.

I think people just humor me because they are afraid I will shoot them or cook their corpse in an unusual manner.
