Yes, you can put up the sign in any restroom you like (Starbucks, funeral home, etc.)

I flipping LOVE these pranks, but I work at a hospital where this (and the rat one) isn't a good idea... especially since having appropriate signage about the spread of germs helps us keep our hospital accreditation.

I mean, I love ZUG and all, but a contest is not worth losing my job over. Sorry, John.

I can post them in other public places, but that's not nearly as fun. Someone come up with a non-health violation one. Something IS related? Or HR?

I posted one of these outside the cube of our Health and Safety person. I can't take a picture of it due to a ban on cameras where I work, so I guess it lacks the same visual impact for the rest of you.


I'm heading back to look at it again. I'll laugh at it for the rest of you, one person at a time.

I printed it out, but immediately had an attack of the nerves. I didn't want it sitting on my desk, afraid that it would get mixed in with my other papers. I stuck it in my snack drawer, but then I envisioned the cleaning crew snooping. I finally just shredded it, palms sweating the whole time.

Let's just say this about my place of work - we work closely with the folks that make the real versions of those posters. Goddamn would it be hilarious to put one of those fake ones up, but the hilarity would last about 3 seconds.

So, at the end of the day, I asked one of the owners if he had read the flyer by the register.

He said he hadn't because it was just one of those be healthy things the accountant like to hang up.

I then asked the other owner if he had read it.

He said, "Yeah, I read the whole thing, word for word."

"What's it about.", I said.

"Oh, they're telling you to wash your hands.", "Use hand sanitizer.", "Cover your mouth when you cough.", "That kind of stuff."


"Read it again.", I said.


He turned red. Everyone laughed. My day at work was complete.
