Workplace Prank: Ridiculous Safety Warnings

There are so many safety warnings, placed on everything from our phones to our breakfast cereals, that you wonder how any of us manage to get through the day without being electrocuted, poisoned, or decapitated.

Fortunately for us, in their zeal to make signage that transcends language and reading comprehension barriers, creators of safety signs give us many possible interpretations of their artwork. That's the inspiration for our latest printable prank. And maybe it'll give you something to think about next time you open a packet of nuts.

You can download and print these "safety" signs to post in your workplace, or someone else's. Be sure to get pictures, especially if you catch someone in a "violation."

To encourage you to make the world a safer place, we're offering a $25 Amazon.com Gift Certificate to the picture that makes us laugh the most by next Thursday, November 17, 2011. Just log in and post your picture below to be automatically entered into the contest!

Remember: you can't spell WORKPLACE SAFETY without "U" ... oh, wait.

Wow... I was doing this stuff 7 years ago when my company charged me with the safety-sign printing software. Management hated it. The shop floor loved it.

Posted the no moonwalking sign in the break area of a secret government facility. Sadly no photography for the safety of the american people but made the big man laugh and then got me smoked by the Shift Sgt. Saving the world one prank at a time.
