John Hargrave in the Atlantic
A comedy conversation

Some of you who have been on Zug for a long time might remember John Hargrave. I don't think he posts much anymore, but he used to be a regular.
Anyway, I was innocently reading the Atlantic today, when suddenly his name appeared. There was a moment of disconnect and it took me a second to register that I was reading about Zug in an article that also uses words like "semioticians."
After ctrl-F-ing for "poop" and sighing in disappointment, I thought I would take advantage of this rare opportunity to draw attention to the fact that John Hargrave has so far missed this opportunity to draw attention to himself.

Well, The Atlantic would be logical, instead of Los Angeles or even Illustrated London News, but our John Hargrave in a real magazine?
I think you're suffering from an alcohol deficiency, Beej.

I'm just relieved that this post wasn't about John Hargrave falling into the Atlantic, possibly from the bow of the S.S. ZUG, or attempting to swim the Atlantic in the most misguided prank in history.

Should we write the editor to point out the fact that his name is Sir John Hargrave?

John: "Hey Livers! This is Jen our new Editor! She's awesome! Jen, say hello to everyone!"
::John then leaps into the Atlantic ocean yelling "BANZAAAAAAAAAAAI!!!" before Jen can utter a word::

That's funny. Thanks for the catch.
Get it, catch? In the ATLANTIC?
(See, this is how you get into fancy magazines, with high caliber humor.)
