    After receiving The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry for Christmas, I have been inspired to write again. Here is the first poem I have written:

    energy assistance for the woman with no heating oil

    why
    if it's so fucking cold
    are you watching hbo?

    The other day on 30 minute meals she off-handedly remarked how she could roll around in EVOO, garlic and anchovies because she likes them so much.

    I like to think she said it because she got my email.
