A comedy conversation by The Mailman: ringing twice, as always | 01/26/2005 08:16 PM | 253 views
Today at work, I had coffee with a female co-worker (let's call her Alice). Our conversation was flowing smoothly, until I mentionned something about one of my colleague (let's call him Bob). At this point she blurts out :

- "Oh you work with that filthy pig! This guy had been stalking me for months!"

I was a little surprised to hear that, so I asked how Bob had been stalking her. She started talking to me about how Bob always arranged to find himself in the same elevator, parked near her own car in the parking lot, had lunch at the same places, and sometimes made up stupid excuses to call her at her desk.

Some details were actually quite creepy, and with Bob being a guy I work with on a regular basis, I didn't know how to react. I wanted to say :

- "This is sick! Why would Bob want to stalk you?"

Unfortunately, it came out as:

- "This is sick! Why would Bob want to stalk you?"

The look she gave me at that moment tells me I'd better find a a new person to take my coffee breaks with.
