Medicine for the modern man
A comedy conversation by The Mailman, as portrayed by Jacques Tati | 03/14/2007 07:22 AM | 220 views
Yesterday afternoon at work, I wasn't feeling very well, so I decided it would be best if I simply went home to get some rest. Once I got home I started to feel really sick. Over the course of the evening, I experienced all of the following:
- nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- headache

I woke up this morning, not feeling much better, so I made the decision to go to the doctor. This bummed me out, because I am hardly ever sick, and it meant I had to put an end to my 5-year run without seeing a doctor.

The doctor told me to sit down and asked me to describe my symptoms. So I kindly gave him the information:
- nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- headache

Five minutes later, I was out of the doctor's office, with a prescription in my hand, which included five days of antibiotics. Tonight, as I took the first pill, I read the little paper that came with the medicine. The paper doesn't even really say what the medicine does exactly, but it is very informative on the possible side effects:
- nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhea
- headache

I expect to have nothing liquid left in my body by tomorrow night.

You don't get much, do you anon?

He was obviously referring to the fact that coffee dehydrates you, and if you drink several cups a day you need more water to make up the difference, but it is worth it since there are so many antioxidents in it as well.

Yay Pepto-Bismol!

Unfortunately, whenever that Shakespeare was force-fed to me when I was a child (yes, I was actually sick) the end result was an unpleasant pouring forth of vile pink fluid from both ends.
