I Dare You Contest: The Winner!
A comedy article by John Hargrave | 06/19/2008 01:57 AM | 210 views
Bragster.comOur latest contest is sponsored by Bragster.com, a new site where people dare each other to do crazy or ridiculous stunts. We issued the I Dare You Challenge, where ZUG readers had to post their most creative dares for the chance to win $300.00 (view the rules here).

We had a huge number of entries, from which we selected the top five (view the dares here). The first person to execute one of these top five challenges, and post video proof to Bragster.com, would win $200.00 cash -- and the person who suggested it would win $100.00.

This will surely go on record as our shortest contest ever, as it was over just a few hours after we posted the dare: ZUG reader Undies took us up on our challenge of creating a suit of Mentos and pouring Diet Coke all over herself. She must have stayed up all night sewing delicate Mentos embroidery, a rich candy brocade, only to ruin her outfit the next morning by pouring soda all over her head:

So congratulations to Undies, who claims the $200.00 prize, and ZUG reader Pram, who wins the $100.00 prize for suggesting this dare. Thanks for spraying comedy all over the yard.

Undies is definitely driven to win! Wow. I can't say as I'd be brave enough to strap a couple of soda jugs to my jugs.

(Thanks, Undies for the trophy help in Kingdom of Loathing.)

Huh? OMG this site is getting lamer by the minute.

"...but we must see the famous Mentos fizz. "

I give props to Undies for trying and her lack of shame on several levels. Congratulations on the $300.

But if I saw that video without knowing about the mentos contest I don't think I'd even notice them.

It just looked like a crazy person pouring Diet Coke on themselves.

And no music? I would have at least set it to the Mentos theme song. Maybe even did a mentos parody that ended with the Diet Coke. But I'm all talk at this point.

Further proof that if it can be imagined, it can be found on the internet.

...
And that SOMEBODY is maturbating to it.

The thing about Undies always winning the prizes is this: she always deserves to win.

That was the awesomest! Congrats and thank you, Undies!

Undies should be insulted. Pram got bolded, and she didn't.

She just got two hundred bucks for dressing in candy and dousing herself in soda pop.

Jeff could write her name in three-point sans serif Zapf Dingbats, and I think she'd be okay with it at this point.

I know I would.

A winnar is me!

And for the record, John can write my name in any font he chooses, as long as it's followed by a less than 3.
