You may have heard of a building in New York also called the World Trade Center. It was built in 1973, and to celebrate the twentieth anniversary, someone detonated a bomb there.
Now, if a building is called the World Trade Center, shouldn't there be just one of them? I mean, it's not a chain, is it? Can you buy a franchise? Is there a little plaque at the bottom that says, "One in a series of World Trade Centers"?
No. It's THE World Trade Center, not A World Trade Center. They don't mess around with the name: you got some stuff you want traded, here's where you do it.
Nonetheless, Boston has one too. On behalf of my city, I apologize.
