Using AltaVista, I found the guy behind this scheme. Reading the all-too-personal account of his psoriasis, I found myself making a mental note to never invite him over for dinner. Particularly if the meal involved Parmesan cheese.

Thank you for your note ... it came at the perfect time. I'd love to try your miracle psoriasis cure, because I think I have this dreaded disease. I have itchy, scaly skin which scabs and flakes when I scratch it. It's humiliating! I can't wear dark clothes, because I tear out hunks of dead skin when I itch my rotting epidermis, and dried skin flakes cover me like a blanket of snow.

What worries me is the smell. Every time I nick off another infected scab, a pungent odor fills the room -- kind of a cross between a skunk and frying bacon. Is this psoriasis or something even worse? Please help me, as I don't trust doctors (I think I contracted this from a doctor, in fact).

Are you people reading your mail?! I asked you a SPECIFIC question about the horrible stench of my mildewed scalp! My head sores have become so itchy that I scratch at them until they bleed and ooze clear pus. And the smell -- oh my Lord, this is one for the record books.
