I recently came up with a bright idea, which I sent to various toothpaste companies in the following prank e-mail.

Dear Crest:

I love toothpaste! You guys sell like 100 NEW FLAVORS of Crest a year, and I buy EVERY ONE OF THEM!!!! I'm your most loyal customer!

But I hate getting a new tube of toothpaste home, only to find that I DON'T LIKE THE FLAVOR!! I'm stuck with having to use up the ENTIRE tube, which takes like SEVERAL MONTHS for me because I usally have 38 or 40 different flavors going at once!!

So here's my EXCELLENT IDEA!! You know how they give out free samples at the bakery? Welp I think you guys should make toothpaste tasting bars called....

THE TOOTHPASTE TASTE BOOTH!!!!!

THE TOOTHPASTE TASTING BUTH has several long clear tubes of toothpaste hanging from giant bags, and passing shoppers take long pulls off it, like a hookah! THE TOOTHPASTE HOOKAH, that's another good name for it if you try this in Turkey! Because they like hookahs there! Anyway, I think this would make you guys a lot of money, because everyone could have a draw off the toothpaste, and that would make people buy more Crest because they'd be able to taste it first!

Think about it. Shoppers love smelling the deoderants, and tasting the toothpaste could be the next big thing! I really think this would go over big, and not just for toothpaste conosures like me.

Let me know how you'd like to proceed on this business idea. I will call you tomorrow to follow-up!

Sincerly,
John Hargrave

Maureen:

Thanks for the response!!!! Can't wait to get started working with you guys!! I LOVE AQUAFRESH and cant wait for shoppers all over the world to be gently licking our toothpaste tasting tubes!

Can you advise me how to go about getting a patent, so we can get this thing into development? I have some free time tomorrow during my lunch break, and can try to get it done then.

Thanks for the speedy response!
