This July 4th, as everyone was waving American flags (made in China) and lighting fireworks (made in Korea), I decided to take a different tack. Using my HP DeskJet, I printed out a color replica of the national flag of Afghanistan, and pasted it to the rear window of my car.
![]() On America's Independence Day, I thought it would be funny to support the country that America is fighting against. Most Americans don't even know whose flag it is, which made it even funnier. I say, when you go to war with a country, you should at least know what their flag looks like. Common courtesy. I mean, how are we going to know when they surrender? So I drove around for the next few days, proudly waving the Afghani flag, seeing what happened. I thought it would be my own little fireworks show. It turned into something more like an explosion. | ||||||||||
