Alaska to Arkansas
| |
|
Alaska
State representative Brandon Jones sent in a piece painted gold. Surprisingly, Alaska was the state with the most volunteers (besides California). Expect to see a lot more tundra jokes in the near future, as we seek to satisfy our rabid Eskimo fanbase. |
|
Alabama
State representative Jennifer Pearce drew a li'l picture of Alabama. |
|
Arizona
State representative Frank Denson sent in a mini-cactus with his piece, which in this photo looks like it's humping the pumpkin. But they were just friends. |
|
Arkansas
State representative Joel Schleiff turned his pumpkin piece into a website. |
|
California
State representative Robin B traveled the longest distance with his piece, and sent it back from the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C., along with a handwritten note that chronicled the pumpkin piece's journey. It was mailed from Boston to San Francisco, then caught the red-eye to D.C., then mailed back to Boston. Robin should get a prize, because he also picked up the District of Columbia, which would have otherwise gone unrepresented. The piece, as you can see, was a mess. |
