South Dakota to Vermont
| |
|
South Dakota
State representative Ross Feickert bit his piece in two, then tried to glue the halves back together with chewing gum. He did this, apparently, to underscore the fact that people from South Dakota are crazy people who like to bite things. |
|
Tennessee
State representative Shelby Todd wrote "Tin-Uh-C!" punctuated by a lively "Yee Haw." Shelby also stapled a small Confederate flag to the back. |
|
Texas
State representative Cristina Gomez drew this lovely mural on her piece, which is shown here in its protective wrapping, lest Cristina's talented artwork be exposed to the elements. Because it was so tightly wrapped, the Texas piece came back smelling worse than any other. |
|
Utah
State representative Todd Murphy included a commemorative Olympic medallion with his piece. |
|
Vermont
State representative Brooke Marshall wrote a two-page essay describing how she made a marinade for her pumpkin piece, consisting of wholesome Vermont ingredients like milk, cheese, maple syrup, apple cider, leaves, hemp, Ben and Jerry's Phish Food, water from Lake Champlain, udder cream, and cow manure. By the time we received it, the piece didn't smell so hot. |
