Since we began our original message board in 1998, we have blown away all other online communities because of our commitment to free speech. We have no moderators looking to censor or edit everything you write. In return, we ask that you stay true to the Ten Commandments of ZUG, which were handed to Schmlomoses (Moses' lesser-known twin brother, who was also a stand-up comic in the Catskills) thousands of years ago.
- Thou shalt honor the intelligent joke.
- Thou shalt respect the community, remembering that there are real people on the other end of thy computer monitor; be thou neither overly offensive nor easily offended
- Thou shalt not threaten or flame other members of the community.
- Thou shalt welcome diversity and new blood.
- Thou shalt focus on being funny, not on being mean-spirited as a substitute for being funny.
- Thou shalt not "flood" the board with irrelevant ratings, posts and/or threads, nor shalt thou "invade" other message boards.
- Thou shalt not post the personal information of other community members or offworlders.
- Thou shalt also keep thine personal information to thyself, unless thou wanteth thy phone number revealed to millions of others.
- Thou shalt not "imp" -- post only under thine own user ID.
- Thou shalt not create multiple accounts.
